These are great to use, I had this AWFUL smell coming up through my heating and air conditioning system since the vents and ducts are in the floor of my home and this skunk keeps burrowing into the crawl space under my home and emitting this awful odor when it would urinate and poo under there! Every time I would run the heat or a/c the smell would come up and permeate my home! Although the seams have had to be restitched these little bags really do the trick of absorbing this smell and all I have to do is place them in the sun to rejuvenate and reuse when needed.

It worked! Smell decreased within hours. I recharged in sun as instructed every morning. By day three no sign of the smell. Don't know how, doesn't make sense to me when explained, it truly worked. I was desparate. We emptied three bottles of febreze extra strength, can of lysol, shampooed the carpets, removed all bedding and clothing, put an industrial fan in there, opened windows, nothing worked. Absolutely the best. We had dead rat in wall, got it out early but it was stinky!!!!! After cleaning area with bleach, we put one of these in & temporarily put drywall back up. I live upstate New York, and animals getting inside are a fact of life. Well something we heard scratching inside the wall did not make it out and the dead animal odor was pervasive. I tried multiple things to get odor to go away.I place this bag on the floor where the odor was and overnight I would say the smell was gone about 80 per cent. Recently a rat start making a house between my RV walls and the sub floor, the smells was horrible and I decided to evacuate everybody including myself. A rat died in the crawlspace under our bedroom and I have never smelled as wretched a stench in my life. Air fresheners couldn't make a dent in the smell. So bad we had to sleep in the guest room the other side of the house.Our exterminator told us to buy a different brand of dead animal deodorizer bags with charcoal but they had 3 day shipping. We couldn't wait and these were available for next day delivery so I ordered 2 bags. I tossed them into the crawlspace floor about 10 feet apart.They absolutely worked. I had something die inside the back wall of my walk-in closet. After two attempts it could not be located. Therefore, to avoid costly deconstruction/reconstruction of the walls, it was recommended to wait it out. I purchased these (2) in hopes it would help with the odor of the decomposing animal. It did to slightly reduce the intensity, however, it does not completely remove it. I must add that there was no way to ventilate this closet, i.e. window, and had that been an additional option, it may have worked better.
