I started ordering this about 6mo ago to help my 10.5yr old male Black Lab who, at the time, was starting to really show his age and size (roughly 100lbs, think tall, muscular and leggy, not fat). His mother who is 13yrs old was having some hind leg stability issues that comes with age and the fact that she is a retired hunting dog that was very active for 90% of her life.
In the 6mo that I’ve been giving them this powder, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in energy level and stability in my old girl’s mind legs, she’s now running more and playing more…almost like a second puppyhood! Unfortunately just recently my big guy has been diagnosed with Lymes Disease, but when we were at the vet (for the emergency of him collapsing one morning, that’s when we found out about the Lymes) the vet asked what I’ve been giving him and I listed out everything including this product.
The vet then told me to keep using it! Because everything that I’ve been giving him has been helping to keep his bones strong and joint in decent health! Between the 2 dogs (90lbs & 70lbs) I go through about 1 jar a month! But as someone that works with animals and has had large working Labs my entire life, I know there are a ton of hip and joint products out there…..but this is super easy to use (one scoop in their food a day) and relatively inexpensive…..but SO, SO WORTH IT!
