My new adopted pup was itching like crazy . All the products I have (which is a lot of sprays , lotions etc) didn’t work as good as coat guard. When dogs have folds or longer coats once moisture gets in their coats the bacteria irritates and the itching starts. I’m so glad I found this product. It works so well to keep my dogs comfortable!
I rated first batch a 3 because how can you rate till you see results and that was beginning of Winter. A couple months ago warmed up enough to throw down some early grass seed. Looks like it mostly sprouted and is growing. I guess the pee patches were totally killed so none of the old grass recovered, but the new is poking through. Still a bit early for final rating. If this continues, may get to a 5. Would like to be able to buy bigger unit quantity, or maybe I am sprinkling too much on.

This stuff works! I've bought many 'enzyme' cleaners, pet odor cleaners, pet stain remover over the years. None have worked. This one works! And I love that it comes in powder form. One scoop into a one gallon jug of water, shake & ready to use. The citrus scent is pleasant & not overwhelming like others (some smell like pinesol or linger in the air like they are covering the smell rather than taking away or neutralizing the smell). After I make a gallon, I pour some in a spray bottle. I've even used it in my carpet shampooer & went over the carpet twice (heavily stained & sturated) & only sucked up some of the areas where I felt it was too wet. I'm not kidding...the carpet no longer smells like anything. I volunteered to clean an elderly disabled persons carpet that had a cat that had health issues & would have diarrhea all over the bedroom carpet. I cleaned it 3 times with my regular pet shampoo in my carpet shampooer that's specifically labeled for pets over a week. It still stunk & I had worked so hard. Then I discovered this powder & I was AMAZED. I'm going to post before & after photos...they are the person's I volunteered to clean. Please no judgement, the cat is 18 & the owner doesn't have enough money to put her to sleep & the cat is acting normal except for the diarrhea. It's sad, but it is what it is. Not only does the homeowner feel better about the condition of the carpet, they didn't have to be embarrassed or spend money calling in a professional company.

This review is for Nature's Pure Edge "Kennel Odor Eliminator Concentrate – Enzyme Powder for Strong Pet Odor, Urine & Poop – Safe for Kennels, Crates, and Carpets – Makes 86 Gallons – Fragrance Free - Industrial Pet Urine Odor Eliminator".I ordered this concentrate to clean plastic crates and kennel pads, and was interested to see how it worked on fabric. It's actually fantastic on grout as well!This concentrate is a light powder that dissolves almost instantly, without needing too much stirring/mixing, but it's also not dusty. As the bottle claimed this works on tile and grout, I tested this on the light grout/tile right in front of a feeding area. It's wiped clean regularly but the grout and tile have a little, well, used-by-dogs look. I sprinkled some powder on the grout where 4 tiles met. I halfheartedly sprayed some water, poked at it with a sponge to make sure it was all wet, and left it for 20 mins. When I returned, I dabbed at the grout a little with a damp sponge, decided I'm not into manual work, and wiped it all up with paper towels. THIS STUFF IS MAGIC. The grout where the cleaner mix was is noticeably cleaner, and thanks to poor kitchen lighting it looks better in person than in the photos (photo shows both cleaned and uncleaned grout). The tiles were clean and whiter where cleaned, and importantly there was no detectable scent at any point of the process.Literally the only thing that's a letdown is at the time of ordering, this was $23.95, but there is now a coupon bringing the price down to $11.97. For a concentrate that makes 86 gallons, can be used in multiple applications, and is actially effective without overwhelming your poor dog's nose, this is a no-brainer of a purchase. I also wish the scoop had graduated marks, as it is it wants you to make a gallon or nothing and mixing up a smaller bottle is somewhat of a guessing game.

This stuff is AWESOME! I have two Cocker Spaniel puppies that are giving me double duty on the doody. I like to keep the artificial grass I use in their playyard super clean, since my kids like to play in there with our new puppies. I was previously using a non-concentrated cleaner, it smelled strongly of "CLEAN!", was MUCH more expensive, and ran out after a few uses - by comparison, this stuff is GREAT. So little goes SO far. I use two scoops in my 1-gallon sprayer, and it lasts for about a week at a time. After I pick up any solids, I spray down where they've done their business to remove any lingering odor, and this works 100% effectively without leaving behind ANY smell at all (no overpowering "CLEAN!" smell... which I'm sure the dogs never appreciated since their noses are so sensitive). Poos/urine, on grass, carpet, concrete - this HANDLES it completely - nothing is left behind, not even a cover-up fragrance. Complete and total neutralization.Last night, while playing with the puppies after dinner, my 5-year-old accidentally stepped in fresh puppy poop (yuck!) and got it everywhere. All over the grass, the stairs, the bricks, the concrete patio... It was a disaster and too dark for me to see just how bad the mess was. This morning, I used the mixed-up concentrate in my pump-sprayer and rinsed everything down. The picture of the grass/concrete is where it was really messy- now, everything is completely back to clean. Zero residue, stains, or odors remain- you would never know there was an absolutely gross disaster there. This is my go-to remedy for my horse during the summer in Florida when she develops skin irritation. She gets sweat itch and becomes quite irritated. After a bath, I apply this to her tail and coat, and it clears up relatively quickly. It's very easy to use. If you do get it, I highly suggest using an old Spice jar and transferring some of it into it for tiny holes. This way, you can easily distribute the powder without too much coming out at once. I've also used this on my dog's paws when they become red and irritated due to a grass allergy. It works wonderfully for him and clears up his skin super quickly.

Who knew a dry powder could do so much?My dog had several ant bites from inadvertently laying on an ant hill. She didn't seem to notice they were also biting her stomach and chest. She has almost no hair there so they can get to her skin quickly and I can easily see all the red dots a little later on.I remembered I had this Coat Guard so I put some on her belly and rubbed lightly to cover her whole stomach and chest. It felt like silk and was cool to the touch. I could tell she felt better and the itching stopped. She was now able to take her usual nap.This stuff is great and very versatile. I haven't used it as a dry bath yet just the soothing of her skin for scratches and bites. I did put a bit on my finger and blot it in my cats ears to dry them up a bit after cleaning. It smells fresh. I didn't think it smelled perfumy at all. What ever it is I like it.Every ingredient in this formula serves a purpose. Some are cooling and soothing and some are detoxing. Cedar oil is often used as an insect deterrent. Unlike sprays she did not mind me putting this on her at all. It was so easy to use and she did smell good.She doesn't mind it, the cat didn't mind it and I like the ingredients.(no extra fillers)I'm glad this came in a large 2lb size as I'm sure it will last a long time. Cost was reasonable. I'm going to keep this on hand.
On New Year's Day, my family had the scare of our lives because my male cat almost died due to a mucus plug. Previously, he's had at least one UTI or urinary crystals/stones situation a year since he came to us as a kitten. If you have male cats, it should be known more how easily this occurs. At some point, you become better at noticing the signs, but the last occurrence really almost took him from us. The funny thing was he was already on a prescription diet, and we were told from our vet that mucus plugs can be random, especially since we were already doing everything we could to prevent further UTIs/crystals/stones.After coming home, I looked further into anything that could help, and found out about D-Mannose. This product truly has been a lifesaver. I started him on it by pouring a full scoop 3 times a day with every meal, and he has had zero opposition to it. There was a point after the first couple of weeks that I lowered the dosage to 1 scoop a day, but he only started showing symptoms again, which was resolved after bringing the dosage back up to 3 scoops a day. It has officially been 7 months now, and he has had no further symptoms and continues to be a happy boy. This vitamin truly is a lifesaver for him and a very good preventive product if your cats often suffer the same issues. It mixes very well with his wet food and can mix well with dry if that is what you have (Kinda toss around with the dry food until coated like a seasoning.) I cannot recommend this product enough and look forward to more happy and healthy days with my boy.
Our grass dies where the dog pees. I tried this product and the grass as a whole looks terrific. Really green and thicker than before. Better than fertilizer! But it appears the grass is still dying if he pees on it. If I water where he pees right away, the grass doesn't die. Just hard to catch it when I am not around.

I really like the coat guard dry shampoo. It was easy to apply and brush into the coats of both of my dogs. The smell is clean and a natural fresh aroma. The dogs didn't seem to mind it (actually enjoyed it) and I really like the scent. It comes in a large 2 lb. container. It seems like a good value to me. The powder is thick but also light enough. I could see it for a couple of days on the darker areas of their fur. For several days after applying it, there would be a dog shaped white cloud on my wood floors where one or the other of the dogs would lay. It was easy to clean up, but kept happening. I was my first time trying something like this, so, it could have been user error on my part. Other than that, I really like it. It has been about a week since applying it and my dogs still smell fresh. Hooray! It is working out fine for us. I hope it works out just as well for you.
This is a powder, and it is a very fine powder...smooth as silk to the touch.This was my first time using a dry shampoo, but it's a winner!First off, my dog likes it...that is paramount. It smells wonderful.The first time I used it on her, I washed it off after a vigorous rubdown.Then I figured out (doh) by reading (doh!) that it should be left on. This raised the bar quite a bit.It all clicked into place after that. Great travel shampoo.My dog hates getting a bath...hates it. She will submit to it, but no one is happy in the doing...and by golly we should be.This helped with that part big time.Now I can just apply at anytime, and just leave it on her. She smells great, and more importantly she likes it on her.This should last a very long time. Dry shampoo....huh. It works.
I ordered this to use on my very active Australian Shepherd we live on a farm and he does pick up some dirt and smells in his daily life. I applied the powder to his coat and rubbed it in and then used a brush and brushed the product through thoroughly. It does leave the coat with no odor which I do like. My Aussie is a black tri color with a gorgeous shiny coat. This product does dull the shine from the coat, but my real concern is the warning on the product label that says while it is rare that regular use of this product can lighten the hair on a dark coated dog. So while this does work as a dry shampoo, the fact it can lighten a dark coat is a deal breaker on this product for me. I can't speak to the powers of it relieving itch as my dog doesn't have any skin issues.
My dogs have always been on some type of hip and joint supplement but I was always paying a lot of money and never saw any good outcome for their hips and joints as they got older. I found this product a few years ago and I have been buying it ever since it seems to help them more than anything else I have ever purchased. My rescue dogs are anywhere from age 7 to 16 and still walking and getting around good. And none of them have ever had any hip problems even the big livestock guardian dogs.
This works awesome, especially for our Mustang Arlo. He's not from this climate (humid and buggy) he's from the high desert, and he suffers from the insect bites, itchiness and dandruff. This stuff is fantastic for turf. The California heat makes pet urine smell awful on turf and I had tried watering and vinegar with no real results. I don't let the dog pee on the turf but it has happened occasionally when I can catch him in time. I rinsed the entire area and let it dry the. I sprinkled these tiny granules all over the turf. I went back an hour later and there was no smell at all! It shocked me. The granular can't really be seen once they are spread in turf but they are still working. I did this again 2 weeks later and I'll be buying more of this for the summer.
Before - am so so mad because I didn't read the best by label till after I fed my cat. Now I'm afraid my baby is going to react badly to it. I'm so disappointed as I am a first time customer.(I thought it was expired but it wasn't!!!)UPDATE - turns out the 09/13/2023 was a 09/13/2025. The 5 was smudge and looked like a 3. The seller was very nice and offered me a replacement since I threw it out, thinking it was old. I would recommend this buyer but I haven't tried the product yet so I will give a review in the near future when it arrives.
With Christmas being right around the corner, we have tons of family coming over. So I got this to run thru the drains and toilets before and after so I can make sure we are not clogged up with so many people. It has a very light smell to it. It is in powder form. I did notice a smell in my Kitchen sink before use and now it's gone after use. I will update after christmas.
This drain cleaner is very easy to use and seemed to help already with flow of water in the bathtub. I used a plastic drain stick cleaner first for getting the hair close to the drain itself. Then put the scoops of powder and the warm water suggested. I actually did a little extra warm water just to make sure the powder was all washed down. The drain seems to be draining faster already!
No complaints, from kitty as to having the Seizure Guard added to her food! And I was very happy that after my vet researched the product she said that it would be fine to give it a try, before resorting to putting kitty on Phenobarbital. It's only been a week so we'll see if it prevents the seizures long term. I am hopeful!Update: I was disappointed at first as my cat had two more seizures, but I think it may have been a matter of the Seizure Guard needing to build-up in her system as she has not had a single seizure in weeks!
